Make Do and Mend: Invisible Mending

Join us in the Norwegian Wood sewing studio for an evening of bringing old clothing back to life

Techniques taught

- Mending small holes with fusible interfacing and reinforce with zig zag stitch

- Seam repairs using invisible stitch (also known as a ladder stitch)

- Learn to sew a button onto a garment

Dye-ing 101 - The Basics of Tie Dying with Katie Miles & Norwegian Wood

Katie Miles teaches the basics of Tie Dye in the back courtyard of the Norwegian Wood studio space, dye-able item included!

Join us in the outdoor space at the Norwegian Wood studio building for an afternoon of tie-ing and dye-ing!

Katie Miles teaches the basics of tie dying on 100% cotton textiles. After this class you will have the foundational knowledge to confidently experiment with tie dying at home.

DEADLINE for purchasing tickets is Tuesday April 11th to allow us time to purchase the dye-able items
